Places To Visit Around:

1. Kudremukh National Park (10 km): This is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, rich in biodiversity. There are leopards and elephants, along with various species of birds. Trek in these hills and landscapes is marvelous. 

2. Kudremukh Peak (About 20 km): The Kudremukh Peak is the third-highest in Karnataka. The view from here is fantastic and not easy to climb up to. All this the trek through the Western Ghat's dense forests and the valleys have in store. 

3. Mullayanagiri (About 45 km): As the highest peak in Karnataka, at 1,930 meters above sea level, Mullayanagiri is one of the most popular adventure sports and boasts some magnificent views over the surrounding hills and valleys. 

4. Baba Budangiri (Around 45 km): Baba Budangiri is one of the most popular destinations for pilgrimage and trekking. This range is famous for its scenic beauty, apart from having the Baba Budan Dargah- a shrine for the Sufi saint Baba Budan. The region is also renowned for coffee plantations. 

5. Jhari Waterfalls:Also known as Buttermilk Falls (Approx. 20 km): It is near the vicinity of Kemmangundi. This one is very picture-pristine and milky white. It is indeed a treat for lovers of nature as well as photography enthusiasts. 

6. Z Point (Approx. 40 km): This is near the hill station of Kemmangundi hill station and provides panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Adventure enthusiasts often try the trek up to Z point; finally, they get some fantastic views of the place. 

7. Chikmagalur Town (Approx. 50 km): Chikmagalur is the nearest town to Hebbe Falls and has plenty of accommodations, restaurants, and places for visiting local markets. Chikmagalur also houses some of the most ancient historical temples and coffee estates with other beautiful views in the surroundings. 

8. Kemmangundi (Approx. 20 km): A beautiful hill station of vales of waterfalls and plantations of coffee. It is a scenic place for treks, picnics, and nature walks. The area has the highest Ramanagiri Peak. 

9. Stretch of Coffee Plantations: Chikmagalur is noted widely for its coffee plantations. Get familiar with the process of preparation and freshly brewed coffee from your short tour of the plantation. 10. Shringeri (About 65 km) 

10. Shringeri: Shringeri is also a sacred cultural center with the glorious Shringeri Sharada Peetham-a Hindu monastery. The town rests on the Tunga River bank in an embrace of nature. 

11. Horanadu (About 70 km): Horanadu is one pilgrim town of the Western Ghats in name and fame for the Annapoorneshwari Temple devoted to the food-goddess. Indeed, it is a peaceful place to stay there with spiritual life in an utterly aesthetic landscape. 

12. Hassan (Around 85 km): Hassan is an ancient town with many ancient temples, most notably being Chennakesava Temple at Somanathapura. It is an excellent place to visit for people interested in the archaeological delights of the Hoysala dynasty. 

How to Reach: 

• By Road: The nearest town is Kudremukh. Good road connectivity to nearby cities such as Chikmagalur and Mangalore exists. If by road one visits Hebbe Falls, then from Chikmagalur, they can board any vehicle as it is roughly 55 kilometers from there. And then the rest, 10-12 kilometers, can be covered through 4WD vehicles or even through a Jeep from Kudremukh. 

• By Train: The Nearest Railway station is located at Chikmagalur, which is about 60 km from Hebbey Falls. By Tavas/ bus service from the Railway, one could proceed towards Kudremukh . From Chikmagalur , one could hire a Jeep. 

• By Air: By Airways/airport, the nearest International one that connects is Mangalore , Located as distant as 120 kilometers from HebbeFalls. A cab shall drop you at the terminal point , and you can take Tavas or Rent for drive to Chikmaglure from there on by using Local Transportation to Kuduremukha.
