How to reach Nijagal Betta

1. By Road

   The destination is accessible by road and the place is not too far from Bangalore, Tumkur, and Devarayanadurga. Roads are good and the hill is connected by well-kept highways and local roads. Bangalore: Normally the road to Nijagal Betta is taken via NH 48 from Bangalore to Tumkur. Distance would be about 60 km and it would take a car or taxi nearly 1.5 to 2 hours.

   • From Tumkur: If you are coming from Tumkur, Nijagal Betta is some 25 kilometres away. Take the Tumkur-Devarayanadurga road and it will take you to the foot of the hill.

   •  From Devarayanadurga: Hill is about 10 kilometres away from Devarayanadurga. So driving for a couple of kilometres would take you up to the foothills of Nijagal Betta.

2. By Train

   Nijagal Betta can be reached by Tumkur Railway Station. It conveniently connects other important cities in Karnataka and India to itself. Hire a taxi from the Tumkur Railway station, or hop on a bus plying across local routes in Nijagal Betta to the hill as well. Tumkur station is about 25 kilometres.

3. By Airport

   The nearest airport is Kempegowda International Airport. It is a 70 km distance from Nijagal Betta. There one can get any taxi or, of course, even a bus facility to travel.
