By Train: The nearest railway station is Mangalore Junction (MAJN), around 110 km from the falls. From Mangalore, you can take a bus or hire a cab to Ujire or Kottigehara, the main starting point for the trek.

By Road: Bandaje Falls is best accessed via road travel.

• From Bangalore (300 km): Take NH75 via Hassan → Belur → Mudigere → Kottigehara → Sunkasale → Mundaaje.

• From Mangalore (110 km): Travel via NH73 towards Ujire → Belthangady → Kottigehara → Mundaaje.

• From Chikmagalur (80 km): Drive via Mudigere → Kottigehara → Mundaaje.

Best Time to Visit

• Post-monsoon (October to February) is the best time for trekking, with pleasant weather and lush greenery.

• Avoid monsoon (June to September) as the trail becomes slippery and leeches are abundant.
