  • May to June – Karwar summer becomes hot and humid with temperatures generally rising way above 35°C. Travelling is not advisable then, particularly if you are going to incorporate outdoor activities in your itinerary. If you prefer fewer people around and off-season deals, then this might be an option.

  • July to September – Karwar is subjected to deluges of rains during monsoons. Although the state turns green and lush, trekking, snorkelling, and boating are usually hit. The sea becomes turbulent, and it is not a good time for water sports.
